I am babysitting a for a friend this week. Macy is seven and Trey is three weeks older than Sadie. So far everyone has done great. Today I took them outside to play in Sadie's pool and you would have thought they were at a water park. It's amazing how happy kids get when they're outside. They absolutely love it!

Bunko (what)? and lot's more summer fun!
So, last Thursday night my friend Misti begged me to play this game "Bunko". I was then told Thursday afternoon that it was and old lady game. Well, I wasn't canceling that late of notice, so I decided to try it out. It was actually a pretty fun game and a really good way to get to know other people in Farmville. I must say that there is quite a variety of personalities in this group! Over-all I had a really good time and really enjoyed the margaritas! So, then Macy decided that she wanted to come home with me and go to the beach with JJ, Sadie, and I on Friday. So, we packed her up and took her home. When we got home our friend Sarah was staying the night, so she and Macy talked all about books and what kinds of books were coming out soon (sarah is an elementary teacher). So, finally around midnight we all went to bed and then got up early and had cinnamon roles and headed off to Shelley's swim lessons and then to the beach. We all had a blast and Macy was even told that she was our child several times (it must be the dark hair). We played at the beach, then the pool, then ate seafood, then played putt-putt and then got ice cream and then wrapped it up by getting attacked by a huge sand crab on the beach in the dark. At the ice cream shop, Macy and Sadie were so cute that someone filmed them eating ice cream and now they're going to be in a commercial. Two hours later we arrived at home around 11:30. Everyone was so tired that we slept until 8:45 the next morning (even sadie)! Shelley cooked some good muffins and then Macy was off with the role playing dad!
Welcome to Cooke Resort!
So, for those of you who don't know "The Cookes", they're a family that I met in college who then took care of me in Greenville, until JJ swept me off my feet. They have just built the best pool set-up ever and we visited them one day last week. This was Sadie's first trip to the big pool this year and she loved it. It's a bit scary because I really do believe that she would just run into the pool without stopping. There will be no laying out for mom if Sadie is with her. So, yeah, I got my hands full with summer fun! Here are a few cute pictures of everyone. Mostly Sadie, and the grandkids and Caroline! I must say that the picture of Mr. Cooke is so him and yes that is his cell phone he is talking on in the water. I think they're trying to see who drops their phone in the water first!

Sadie's One Year Pics!
Sadie got her one year pictures taken last Friday. She did a wonderful job especially considering that later that night we found out that she had a double ear infection. Here are some of the pictures. There were over 100 pictures, but these were my favorites!
Summer is a BLAST!
So far this summer I have been extremely busy doing swim lessons and getting volleyball started. I have managed to find some free time and special time to spend with Sadie and it has been very refreshing for us both. Yesterday we kept Kohl for a while and they played outside in the pool and water table a lot. They seemed to really have a lot of fun. Sadie also had her first sleep over on Monday night. Her good friend Ava stayed with her while her mom and dad were at a meeting. They were so excited to see each other and they were WIRED!!! They rode the wagon, ate freeze pops, and played until Ava couldn't take it anymore and pretty much asked to go to bed. I look forward to many more playdates with some of Sadie's other friends. Man, summer is AWESOME!!!! How much better can it get?
Mee-Maw's Birthday
Happy Birthday Mee-Maw! Mom came and watched Sadie all day on her birthday. We also went and got Sadie's one year pictures taken and they were wonderful. Later on Daddy, and Amanda came to Greenville and we cooked out and celebrated Mom's birthday. All in all it was a very nice day!
Father's Day!
Dad's are such special people and I love to make it "their day" once a year. This year I tried my best to make JJ's extra special as well as my own father. I have been so blessed to have the best dad that anyone could ever ask for. I know that is also how my wonderful husband is going to be to our sweet little girl! We had lot's of fun with my dad and a special lunch with my Aunt Carolyn, cousin Donna and her boyfriend Dennis, and her son Michael. My Grandma Grace also joined the clan along with my sister and her boyfriend Thomas. After lunch I took JJ out to a movie which scared me to death as well as a trip to Best Buy and Sam's where we bought a new TV. I have been saving up for almost a year and was very excited to surprise JJ with such a fun gift. We still haven't got it hooked up yet, but I am sure that it will look awesome when it is up! Thank God for fathers and what they mean to us all!

Olivia Graduates!
So, I am officially OLD!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday I attended Olivia's graduation party, which is who I babysat when I was in high school. She is absolutely beautiful and will be attending NC STATE in the fall. She is a super girl with an amazing future ahead of her. We are so very proud of you, and can't wait to see you succeed in college. Keep up the good work!
Fun in the Sun!
Well, for the past couple of Sundays, Sadie and Mom have hung out with the Wacky Williford's. They're trying to get Sadie to like the pool a little more and maybe not be quiet to prissy. Then we've been going on a walk through a big field that reminds me of "The Little House on the Prairie". It is a pretty good workout and I had no idea Farmville had such cool trails! Anyway, Sadie is now beginning to splash as long as she is not taken out by unusual monsters! Here are a few pictures!
