Sadie loves her Papa and Nana!

Sadie got up from her nap on Sunday and one thing on her mind......finding papa. She was ready to play with Buster (papa's dog) and blow bubbles! She knew Papa would never say no to her, so here she came running. I walked outside and watched them and they were so cute. It looked like a hallmark card when I walked out. Shortly after, nana came to join the fun. These are memories that will truly last a lifetime!

Easter Was Busy!

Spring is over and boy was it lots of fun. We stayed very busy during our break, but we did enjoy lot's of time with family, friends, and even some relaxation. Sadie attended a total of five easter egg hunts this year and seemed to really enjoy them all. Here are a few pictures from Easter!

The first slideshow was the Easter Egg Hunt at Mrs. Sheryl's House. That is Sadie's babysitter for those of you who didn't know.

The next Egg Hunt would be at Papa's church! Sadie really enjoyed playing on the playground after the egg hunt! This one was a lot of fun too!

The last egg hunt was at Nana and Papa's friends house. They had this huge pig pickin for everyone to attend and the kids had an egg hunt. There was special treat after eating dinner. Mr. Jerry loaded everyone on his trailor and took them to see the goats and sheep. I seriously felt like the biggest redneck ever! Even nana rode the trailor. The kids loved seeing the animals and it was very special for Sadie. Cute pictures to follow of course!

Lastly, Sadie did have an Easter dress, but she cared absolutely nothing for it that morning. Here is her cute dress all wrinkled up and her unhappy face!

April starts off busy!

April has begun and it's already very busy. With my sister getting married, there is always something going on. This past Saturday our best friends from Raleigh came down to visit. It was wonderful spending time with them and Logan and Sadie played their little hearts out all day. They even skipped a nap.

The kids carried on their fun to an easter egg hunt at The Ellis's. This was also great to watch. Sadie had NO problem understanding how to pick up the eggs. She was actually very competitive (now who could she have gotten that from?)! Her bucket was full of eggs and she also had a lot of fun decorating eggs and eating sweets.

The evening finally ended with Amanda's second shower. This one was a Garden and Tool shower. It was also a success.

March

This month has been quite eventful. Sadie is learning lots of new things as she continues to grow. She has transitioned from her crib to a toddler bed. It is challenging at times, but she seems to be doing well over-all (even though she is sometimes still playing with toys at 10:30 p.m. in the dark)!

I also got to see my good friend Andrea at a baby shower a few weeks ago. She came down from AZ to visit her best friend Candi who is having twins. It was nice seeing her for the short time that we did!

We ended the month by having one of the many wedding showers that my sister will be having. This one was a pantry/kitchen shower. She got lot's of cool items.
