Volleyball Camp!

I took my volleyball team to UNC volleyball camp this year! We had a wonderful time and pretty much got our butts beat at the beginning! The girls learned so much and had a blast and I loved being there and learning a lot two. We ended up losing in the semi-finals in our division on the last day. We improved so much.....YEAHHHH!!!

LIttle Man Is Growing Up---6 Months Old!

Okay, so little Dakota is growing up so quick! At almost 6 months old he can sit up, he has 4 teeth....yes you are reading that correct...... 4 teeth! He is the happiest baby ever. He loves going to Mrs. Sheryl's everyday and he does love his MAMA! I will give you more of an update later this week when I upload some more recent pictures. Until then, these three will have to do!

Fun times with the Radez's!

A few weeks ago, we went and spent the day with Elizabeth, Logan, and Tate. We had a wonderful time with them at the pool. Here are a few pictures of us together! Man, I really miss these guys!

At the pool they had a diving board, but there were rules.........the only way that you could jump off of it was if you could swim to the side where a parent to get you, but the parent could not catch you. I couldn't believe Sadie wanted to do it since she had just learned to swim, but she did such a great job! We were so proud of her braveness!

Bible School Extravaganza!

A couple of weeks ago, VBS began at Nana and Papa's! One week she went to the church that I grew up in and the next week she went to Papa's church! She has such a wonderful time and believe it or not she actually learned a few things. She made some fun crafts and of course she entertained everyone. I must say that I am little scared of how much she reminded me of my sister at that age......what are we going to do??????????????????? Any of you that knows my sister is laughing their face off right now! We asked Sadie every night what she learned and all she could talk about was singing "Deep and Wide,"B-I-B-L-E", and of a few more. And of course she loved it that one of the bible schools had a Mountain Dew Slushy Machine......what were they thinking????? Thank goodness Papa did monitor that pretty well! I have several pictures to show you, but before I do that, I have to share a quick story! Last week JJ was gone to Cross Country camp for the whole week and I had both kids by myself for 6 days. I was doing pretty good, but on the second day, Sadie was really frustrating me because she would not listen. Here is how the conversation went:
Sadie: "Mama, I know you are frustrated"
Me: "I am frustrated, Sadie, because you will not listen"!
Sadie: "Mama, LOVE, Jeremiah 31-3"
Me: "Where did you learn that from?"
Sadie: "My papa's church"
Me: "Speechless......I was told off by a 3 year old"!
I share this because it really opened my eyes to what kids can learn at such a young age. I am so glad that she was exposed to VBS and had such a great time. I really look forward to getting her involved in Iguana's in Greenville.
THANK YOU NANA AND PAPA FOR TAKING CARE OF ME AND TAKING ME TO VBS EVERY NIGHT!

This is a video of Sadie's group singing "Deep and Wide". Unfortunately I was at Volleyball Camp, so I didn't get to see it, so JJ taped it, but some setting was messed up, so it is REALLY blurry! Sorry, but you can get the gist of it all! Enjoy!

Sadie always has an answer........PAPA!!!

Ok, so we were riding home from church today and we went through the drive threw at Bojangles. I ordered a combo for Sadie and I to share. Check out this conversation:
Sadie: "I just want a biscuit mama"
Me: "Good because that is what I got you"
Sadie: "We only got one box, what about my biscuit?"
Me: "I am going to give you mine"
Sadie: "Mama, you don't have to do that, just buy me my own"
Me: "It's ok, I can give you mine and we can save some money"
Sadie: Mama, just go to the bank and get some more"
Me: "Well we might run out"
Sadie: "(Laughing she says) Silly mama, Papa will just put some more money in the bank for us"!!!!
