Since Christmas!

Since Christmas we have been busy at home. We've gone through all Sadie's toys trying to decide what to take to Goodwill and what to keep for the next little one. Sadie has really enjoyed her new toys and clothes. She has also been very busy playing with them all. She loves to watch movies now (especially elmo), so if we have something to do, we just put a video in. When we got home the other night Sadie walked in the door and got in her beanbag and said, "watch movie". It was super cute. The pictures of her in the beanbag are when she was watching the movie. It's wild how focused and still she stays for that 30 minutes. The picture of her in the stroller is what happens when you ignore her and leave her alone for 10 minutes.

Christmas Traveling!

Christmas was a bit different this year with my Granny passing away at Thanksgiving. The family did try and focus on what she would want and that is a lot of happiness and joy. Christmas was her favorite time of year, so we all tried to remember that as we missed her. Our tradition was meeting at her house for Christmas Eve, butwe moved that to mom and dads this year. It actually working out really nice because now the kids could play in the game room where their is pool and table hockey. Beginning Christmas Eve we traveled to the Barbour's for Christmas with family and friends. Sadie was very excited and the gifts just kept coming. She really enjoyed opening the gifts, but she really didn't care what was in the package, she just wanted to open another one. Some of her favorite gifts were: her talking babydoll, rocking chair from crackel barrell (nana and papa gave her), legos from aunt rhonda, aquadoodle from cousins, kitchen from aunt amanda, and stroller from nanny. It was very busy couple of days, but she enjoy it alot. Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve and morning. In the second slideshow, there are some pictures of Sadie in Roanoke Rapids.

Gift from Mom and Dad!

JJ and I got Sadie a beanbag for Christmas. We gave it to her before we left so that we didn't have to worry about packing it at mom and dad's. Sadie really likes the beanbag and loves to be thrown in it or watch a movie in it.

Christmas with Radez's and Thompson's!

Radez and Elizabeth came to Greenville and we did Christmas. It was nice seeing Sadie and Logan play together. Sadie was very busy teaching Logan how to open gifts!!!!!

We also did Christmas with the Thompson's!

The Christmas Extravaganza Begins!!!

The busy season has come and gone. The first Christmas party that we attended was Sadie's party at her daycare. Mrs. Sheryle had a cute party ready for all the kids. They exchanged gifts and it was really cool to see all the kids so excited to open gifts.

Another Ball Season!

Volleyball is over! Then football is over! Now, it is time for basketball season. It's been a busy one, having two games a week. It's also been a bit of a change from the team that we had last year. We graduated 10 seniors, so its definitely a rebuilding year. Hopefully we can get some more wins after Christmas! Maybe a little break is just what they need, or at least what the coach needs! They may not be winning, but they got two really cute mascots/cheerleaders. Check out Trey and Sadie cheering at one of the home games. I think Trey like those pom-poms as much as Sadie did! I'm not quite sure what to say about that one!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FARMVILLE!!!!!!!

This past Saturday we went to the Farmville Christmas Parade. It was filled with lot's of fun. We of course went with the Wacky Williford's. Sadie and Trey seemed to have a good time. Neither one of them like those cars that drive in circles and are very loud. Trey HATED the dressed up animals and Sadie liked them until they got in her face and then she was turned OFF! Santa was fun for them to say. Sadie just kept repeating ho-ho-ho-ho (i'm not sure why my sister didn't just teach her to say santa--ahahahah)! Over-all is was a cute parade and fun for the kids. Enjoy the pics!

MOMMY AND ME!!!!!!!!

Okay, so we have a video called "Mommy and Me". It sounds really cheesy and I must say it really is, but it is wonderful for Sadie. It's just a video with nursery rhymes and songs. She LOVES it and I love it because I can actually cook or do what I need to do. Yes, she is watching it everyday. She honestly sits there for 30 minutes and does not move. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! She doesn't even know we walk through the room. Anyway, here a couple of cute picture of her with JJ when he was bumbing out with her.

Busy time and lot's to cover!!!!!!!!

Hello!!!! We are alive. We have been very busy and the month of November has been filled with lot's of ups and downs. Thanksgiving has come and gone and we were reminded of many ways that we should be thankful. This was a hard time for our family because my Granny passed away. Although this time was very difficult and I am very thankful that she is rejoicing in heaven now and is happier than ever with NO SUFFERING!!! She died two days before Thanksgiving, so the holiday was a bit different. I also was asked to do part of the eulogy. That was truly an honor and I even made it through with crying (thanks to all of you who were thinking of me during that time). JJ and I really appreciated all the phone calls, e-mails, and gifts. We were again reminded of how blessed we were to have such loving friends! Okay, enough of the gooshy stuff!!!!!!!!! Sadie is doing great. She is CONSTANTLY talking and is a lot more excited about Christmas this year. She knows who Santa is and definitely knows what reindeer are also. Sadie is really into baby dolls, books, drawing, and anything that involved pretending. Here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving and time with family and friends during my Granny's funeral and stuff.
