She's off to Pre-School!

This morning our little girl who is now a "so big girl" (according to her) went to pre-school. She was so excited that she couldn't go to sleep last night. She had a wonderful time today and it sounds like her favorite part was the sandbox and dinosaurs! Go figure! She is growing up oh so fast!!!!

Trip to Johnston's!

This past Saturday we had the opportunity to go and visit some of JJ's family! Here is the eventful day in a nutshell!

Dakota our eating man!!!!

Dakota is eating rice cereal now and he of course LOVES it! When Sadie was this age, she didn't care for rice cereal, but Dakota on the other hand is very different. He gets so excited when you put him in his highchair and it is all too cute!!!! We love it! Who knows what he will do when he actually has REAL food next month.:)

Loving life at Nana and Papa's!

Here is a little slideshow of what Sadie has been enjoying while at Nana and Papa's house this week. Bible school pictures will follow later this week when it is over!

Just too cute!!!

I just love these two pictures of my babies and thought I would share them with you. So blessed to have such healthy children!!!

July 4th

We spent the fourth of July with lots of friends in Raleigh. We started off on Sunday night with Mike and Sarah. We even took the kids to see some fireworks at the fairgrounds. Then on Monday we went and spent sometime with Radez and Elizabeth and then went to a big cookout later that day. Later in the week after attending a wedding we went to a bar downtown in Raleigh called Humble Pie with Radez and Elizabeth. That was very refreshing with no kids around and really seemed like the good old times when they lived here in greenville. Fun time with lots of friends! Of course all they wanted to know was..................when are you moving to Raleigh...!!!

It's been rough!

Okay, so I am still a little slow at updating the blog. I have an excuse this time. Last Tuesday I had my tonsils removed. The first four days I thought I was doing great and now the last 4 days have been bad. I can't eat and my throat hurts, but I know in the end that I WILL LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mom came and stayed for 4 days and that was a sweet time for me and her. I really just loved spending time with her by myself (yes, that's a little selfish, but sometimes you just need your mama). Then she left and everything went downhill, but my husband has really stepped it up and been wonderful to me. Sadie has been at mom and dads loving life and going to bible school. I will have some pictures soon to show all the fun she has been having. Here are a few while mom was here with us.

Visit with Thomas and Amanda!

We went to visit Thomas and Amanda today at the camper at the river. Here are a few pictures from that trip!

Beach Cuties!

The title says it all! These are no professional pictures, but I thought they were really cute!

No Vacation is Complete without Icecream!

Yummy Yummy to my Tummy!

Step One-----Learning to swim!

We have truly come so far when it comes to swimming! Last week we were at the beach and the week before, I made Sadie go to swim lesson for five days (just like she was another one of my swim lessons). She did her thirty minutes and then she left. Well I must say the first three days were TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! She didn't want to have anything to do with putting her face in the water! This was very frustrating to mom because she teaches 3 year olds how to swim all the time!!!!! Finally by day four she was going under a little and the last day she would jump off the side and go under the water. When we were at the beach she completely did a 360. She was jumping off the side, going for diving sticks, riding the waterslide alone. And during the week, she began swimming for a short distance. I really think she will be swimming before the summer is over now! Check out the cute video and of course look at that AWESOME form the picture below! Way to go Sadie!!!

Vacation Recaps!

Okay, so we honestly had a wonderful time at the beach! It was actually very relaxing and I really did rest up. The kids even slept in every day we were there. The most exciting thing was definitely the waterslide. Sadie loved it and was able to do it by herself by day 3. You will see this in a video below! My parents and sister came down for the last two days and that was fun also. It was hilarious watching my dad on the slide. I think he flipped out of the float at least 25 times in the two days that he was there. All in all we truly had a blast! Hopefully we can do something similar again next year!

Beach Bound!

Here are some beach pictures from the few hours that JJ and I could handle it with two kids! Sadie loved the ocean and especially getting dirty!!!! Dakota did fine until the wind took our tent and then he looked like a hotdog rolling down the beach. It sounds funny, but he sure didn't think so as he was SCREAMING!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't get a picture of that one!

Dakota's finds them!!

At four in a half months, Dakota finds his feet and boy does he love them! I just think it is so cute to watch him observe and play with them!
