A couple of weeks ago, VBS began at Nana and Papa's! One week she went to the church that I grew up in and the next week she went to Papa's church! She has such a wonderful time and believe it or not she actually learned a few things. She made some fun crafts and of course she entertained everyone. I must say that I am little scared of how much she reminded me of my sister at that age......what are we going to do??????????????????? Any of you that knows my sister is laughing their face off right now! We asked Sadie every night what she learned and all she could talk about was singing "Deep and Wide,"B-I-B-L-E", and of a few more. And of course she loved it that one of the bible schools had a Mountain Dew Slushy Machine......what were they thinking????? Thank goodness Papa did monitor that pretty well! I have several pictures to show you, but before I do that, I have to share a quick story! Last week JJ was gone to Cross Country camp for the whole week and I had both kids by myself for 6 days. I was doing pretty good, but on the second day, Sadie was really frustrating me because she would not listen. Here is how the conversation went:
Sadie: "Mama, I know you are frustrated"
Me: "I am frustrated, Sadie, because you will not listen"!
Sadie: "Mama, LOVE, Jeremiah 31-3"
Me: "Where did you learn that from?"
Sadie: "My papa's church"
Me: "Speechless......I was told off by a 3 year old"!
I share this because it really opened my eyes to what kids can learn at such a young age. I am so glad that she was exposed to VBS and had such a great time. I really look forward to getting her involved in Iguana's in Greenville.
THANK YOU NANA AND PAPA FOR TAKING CARE OF ME AND TAKING ME TO VBS EVERY NIGHT!
This is a video of Sadie's group singing "Deep and Wide". Unfortunately I was at Volleyball Camp, so I didn't get to see it, so JJ taped it, but some setting was messed up, so it is REALLY blurry! Sorry, but you can get the gist of it all! Enjoy!

That video was so cute! I just can't believe how big she is getting. Tell her we said, "Stop! Slow down and don't grow up so fast!"
