Cute Stuff!

Warm weather in February!

Wow, what an amazing weekend! The weather has been awesome. Sadie got to go to her most favorite place.......Nana and papa's. They came and picked her up Friday night. She had a blast of course. It was also nice for JJ and I to have time to do some stuff. We even got to go out Friday night (I thought I had forgotten how to do this, we hadn't been out in so long...hahaha). We picked Sadie up on Saturday. The weather was so nice that Sadie got to play with bubbles outside. Here are a few cute pictures from the bubbles. She really loved it and loved chasing them.

What is Sadie learning now!

Sadie is learning so much everyday. Having her with children is benefiting her so very much. She learns something new everyday. She can count to ten on her own, say her ABC,s with a little bit of help (which you will see in a video). She loves to sing nursery rhymes, play outside, watch any kind of cartoon movie, and play with her babies. She also really enjoys playing with wood puzzles. She is really good at putting them together. I guess I am a little biased, but I think she is the smartest 21 month old ever ahahahhaa! We are very proud of her and the progress she makes daily. She is still very small and doesn't seem to grow very quickly. She is constantly moving and doesn't really care that much about food, unless it is junk food. Hopefully it is nothing to worry about. It's Potty Time!

Sadie got an Elmo movie for Christmas called, "Potty Time". She has really enjoyed watching it. It basically explains what it is to potty and seriously takes it to an extreme. Elmo even sings songs when he potty's. Well, about two weeks ago Sadie decided to go to the potty. She actually did it! We were so proud of her. She usually uses it once a day. She is definitely not ready for pull-ups yet, but maybe a year from now we will be diaper free!

A New Addition!

My friends gave me some vinyl lettering for Christmas. I couldn't decide on a phrase, so they just made one for me. I really liked it and the color was perfect for my bathroom. Anyway, check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It does snow in the East!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today has been a very exciting and somewhat boring day. We woke up this morning to a dusting on the ground and by late in the evening it was around 4-5 inches. It was beautiful and a lot of fun. We introduced Sadie to a sled, but she mainly just liked walking around kicking the snow. It was really cold outside, so we couldn't stay out there very long. We were basically bumbs all day. Sadie played and made lots of messes all day long. I worked on school work except for one short nap, and JJ watched House over and over and over (it's his new favorite show).

Happy Birthday JJ!

Today was JJ's birthday! He turned 31! Man we are getting old. It was really a somewhat normal day. Went to church, had lunch, and then JJ went to a movie with some friends, while I stayed home with Sadie. Sadie got JJ a hammer for his birthday and I got him a gift card to Lowes. Sounds boring, but that is what he wanted. He is trying to save up for a storage shed. Maybe he'll get it one day! Sadie also made him an adorable card. Happy day of birth!!!!

Wacko Willifords!

We hung out with the Willifords the other night. We hadn't done Christmas yet, so this was the time to do it before the busy days return tomorrow. It also happened to be the same day as the ECU game, so it was nice watching that even though they lost. There was also lots going on with Sadie, Trey, and Macey running around. Everything from eating, to playing the Wii, to watching the game, to being mysterious. Over-all it was a good time. As it got later, Trey and Sadie took and bath and they seemed to love that, of course until it was time to get out. That all for the Wacko's!

Happy New Year!!!!!

Welcome to 2009!!!!!! We spent New Years Eve with some friends back home. We had a very good time and lot's of good food and stuff. JJ got to play guitar hero, so that was really funny to watch. Sadie even thought that she could play and tried to when no one was looking. On New Years Day we to the annual lunch at Uncle Deans. That was lots of awesome food with of course some black eyed peas. Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since Christmas!

Since Christmas we have been busy at home. We've gone through all Sadie's toys trying to decide what to take to Goodwill and what to keep for the next little one. Sadie has really enjoyed her new toys and clothes. She has also been very busy playing with them all. She loves to watch movies now (especially elmo), so if we have something to do, we just put a video in. When we got home the other night Sadie walked in the door and got in her beanbag and said, "watch movie". It was super cute. The pictures of her in the beanbag are when she was watching the movie. It's wild how focused and still she stays for that 30 minutes. The picture of her in the stroller is what happens when you ignore her and leave her alone for 10 minutes.
