Amanda got Daddy and I tickets to the NC State/Virginia Basketball game yesterday. Despite the Wolfpack losing (which they always seem to do when my dad gets to go), we still had a wonderful time. Hopefully they can get a new coach soon and actually be good enough to compete in the ACC!

Not Mischievious at ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday JJ!
JJ's birthday was last Monday! I am a little late posting because we have been sick for the past week. He turned 32 and seemed to have an enjoyable day. We went to Ruby Tuesday's to eat and then Sadie and I made him a cake. Sadie was very proud of her cake and she definitely decorated all of the top. I have lot's a proof from the white shirt she was wearing!

Sadie gets a real tea set!
Shane and Debbie got Sadie a real tea set yesterday! Sadie thought she was pretty special because Nana actually let her put real water in it and she had a tea party with Debbie, Monkey, and Bear! She was so very careful since it was very breakable! Debbie said that next time she goes to her house they'll use real tropical tea! Sounds exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!
Christmas Morning!
Christmas morning began with my dad thanking the Lord for being born! We then proceeded to open gifts and then go to Grandma's for breakfast and more gifts! It was quick but a lot of fun. We then went to the Johnston's and spent some good quality time with JJ's family. Sadie loved spending time with Nana and Papa, and then Grandma and Grandaddy and Jacob!

Christmas Eve!
Christmas Eve was here before we knew it. Most of the day was spent preparing for dinner. JJ and Daddy did get to go see a movie and then they came home to toys that needed put together from Nannie! What would she do without JJ? Sadie got to open her first gift from us (our Christmas tradition is opening a new pair of pajamas on christmas eve), and she loved her Minnie Mouse pajama's. She wanted to wear them for dinner, but thank God Nana had her a cute new dress to wear and she liked that idea! Everyone from Granny's family came over to mom and dads and we had a blast. It was really cool seeing all the little ones play together. At the end of the night we of course then exchanged our gifts with Nannie!
Maybe a little creative!
Okay, so my dad is a HUGE NC State fan (even though they seem to struggle in many sports)! Anyway, I wanted to do I memoralble for one of his gifts this year. I decided that I was going to by a bubble gum machine and turn it into a NC State bubblegum machine. My first thought was by some State stickers and decorate it (how hard could that be). Well, after shopping at many, many, many stores, there were no stickers to be found. Before I knew it we were back from Disney and all I had was a red bubblegum machine (which would really have hot tamales in it because that it his favorite candy). So, I took a late trip to Michaels (along with everyone else in greenville) and purchased some supplies to do some decorating on this machine. So, here is what it turned out to look like. I was pretty satisfied and daddy loved it!
We made it back!
