Vacation---Day 1

We arrived at the beach today to begin our week long vacation! Of course as soon as we got here, Sadie wanted to do everything that was offered on site! It didn't help that the pool was right outside our balcony window with a huge waterslide. She then said she saw her friend Trey here (he wasn't), but I had to go prove to her that it was his twin! All in all we finally got the car upacked and into the pool we went. It was a lot of fun and the waterslide is actually very fast! It flipped Sadie and I under the water the first time we went on it, but it didn't seem to bother her since she is FINALLY not afraid to put her face in the water! I'll keep you posted later in the week with lots more pictures! Oh yeah, and Dakota was AWESOME! He just sat in the pool in his float and enjoyed it all as he sucked his two fingers and went to sleep!:):)

Sadie and Dakota!

Sadie and Dakota are growing up so fast. Dakota is now four and half months and of course Sadie is three. Dakota had has 4 month check up a couple of weeks ago. Everything went great. He weighed 14.5 lbs and was on the 50th percentile in weight and height and his head is on the 75th percentile (hopefully that means he will be smart:):))) He pretty chunky, but so much fun to be around. HE ACTUALLY JUST GOT TWO TEETH ABOUT 9 DAYS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought that was insane. I couldn't believe it when I felt those two teeth in the front! I guess it will be time for baby food soon! All in all the kids are growing up quickly and doing wonderful!

Amanda's Birthday

Last week was Amanda's birthday. We met in Wilson to eat and celebrate her special day!

Nana's Birthday!

We had fun celebrating Nana's birthday! We cooked hotdogs and hamburgers and I made mom Hot Fudge Cake for her birthday dessert! She has always loved Hot Fudge Cake and it was my first time making it (with a little assistance) and he was AWESOME!!!! I will definitely be using this recipe again!

Sadie goes Fishing!

This summer has already started with lots of fun! Sadie has been spending lots of time at Nana and Papa's! She actually thinks that Papa is supposed to pick her up every Thursday to go and stay with them a couple of days. I think she did that for like 3 weeks. I love it that she loves to go and be with them! She sees them all the time, so that is why she loves to go there. She would probably live there if we would allow her too! Sadie got a princess fishing pole for her birthday, so we took it to Papa and Nana's since they have a pond. Sadie had a wonderful time fishing with them and she actually loved the worms. Here are a few pictures. I will also be uploading some more when I get them from my mom! FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

Praise the Lord

I believe the picture explains it all. It's a little overdue, but Dakota has been sleeping through the night for one month now! He started doing this just before he was 4 months old! He is sleeping in his crib in Sadie's room (well I guess I should call it their room). He also LOVES to sleep on his stomach as you can see in the picture on the playmat!

Creative Carolyn!

So my Aunt has been pretty creative in the past month. She made Sadie's birthday cake which was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and now she just made Courtney's graduation cake and it was beautiful! Check them out!

Mr. Cookes Birthday!

A few weeks ago we celebrated Mr. Cookes birthday! It was a nice day out by the pool. Everyone had a wonderful time and Mr. Cooke finally got to meet Dakota!

Sadie of Course!

Then there is Sadie of Course! She is continuing to grow and become sassier and sassier. We are quite often toughening up her behind!!!! She is fun though and also a great kid to have around. Here are a few pictures of her. One is her playing with her water ball that Jaxon gave her. The other is just a cute one with her new hat!

Dakota is growing more and more!

Dakota is continuing to grow more and more. We go on the 14th for his 4 month check up. We have seen a lot of changing the past week or two. He is talking a lot more ( in the video it looks like he is whining, but he is actually just talking and had been doing this for 30 straight minutes) and starting to play with a few toys! He is still a really good baby so far and I am very excited for that!

Phillips First Birthday!

Last Sunday, Phillip had his first birthday! He had it at Screamin Meme's, which was a building full of jumping things, playgroud equipment, and video games, and then none other than ELMO!!!!!!! Sadie loved meeting elmo even though he wouldn't sing her the elmo song, but he did jump with her in the blowup thing!

I am of course behind in my blogging. Anyway, here is a quick update on Sadie. She went to her first dance recital this past month. One of my volleyball players gave us tickets to go. Sadie does love her up some Courtney! It was three in a half hours long and Sadie sat there in amazement the entire time. She absolutely loved it! She then came home and the next day got her dress up stuff out and said she wanted to be like Courtney when she grew up. It was so sweet! I guess dancing will be coming in the next couple of years. Its definitely at the top of her list of fun things to do!
