Sadie becomes a PIRATE!
We took Sadie to the ECU game last weekend. It was really a lot of fun. She really enjoyed the game and she didn't even take the fun from JJ and I. She just jumped and cheered as if she knew what was going on. I must say at half-time she just sat and watched the band play (you'll see the pictures). She is also learning the ECU chants at such a young age. This win also makes ECU #1 in their conference-----GO PIRATES!!!
I can PAINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, so this past weekend my friend Misti came over and gave me a crash course on painting. I painted my bathroom and I think I did a really good job. It is not perfect of course, but just fine for me. Misti is actually really good at this kind of thing, kind of like I am at cooking. Maybe I can eventually become good at both. Anyway, here is the finished work!

Football!
After trick or treating my sister took Sadie home and JJ and I went to the football game. We actually got to watch it since we were not chasing Sadie around. We sat with some students and it was really fun. Here are a few pictures of some of our volleyball players and cross-country players (they all seem to date each other). Weird, huh?
Halloween Pics!
Halloween was a lot of fun this year. We went to trunk or treat a few nights before Halloween and then we went trick or treating Friday night. Sadie was of course the cutest bumble bee EVER!!! Here are some pics!
Like Mother, Like Daughter!!!!!!!!!!!
I love to cook and it looks like Sadie might enjoy it also. JJ says that I am a really good cook, so hopefully Sadie can learn some tips from me just like I did my mom and other family members. I must say that it was a very special moment for me!
2008 NC STATE FAIR
As most of you guys know, JJ and I work at the State Fair! We had a blast this year and it was fun seeing Sadie there, loving it all. I must say that she really loved the carousel the most. She basically cried everytime she had to get off. She was a bit spoiled because she got to go with Aunt Manda, Nana and Papa, and Mommy and Daddy.
Way over due for an update!
Okay, so yes it has been quite a while. Things are finally slowing down some for us. Volleyball, Cross-Country and the NC State Fair have all ended. Life is somewhat normal now, but don't worry basketball season is right around the corner. Sadie is doing great. She is talking so much and is starting to play with babydolls and read everyone books. She did do something really exciting a couple of weeks ago. She said her first sentence. We were coming in to mom and dad's and she said "papa". I told her he was going to bed and she in a pitiful tone said "I want my papa". It was sooooooo cute and of course my dad ate it up. Anyway, here are a various number of pictures that we have taken in the past month.
I Scream You Scream, We all Scream for Icecream!!!
So, I love icecream and so does Sadie. She is also taking my traits and being independent. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or bad. I must say it was really cute though!
