Something new!
Sadie's new thing is making this noise with her tongue out. Once she starts doing it, she just walks around and continues to make the noise. It's cute most of the time as long as she is not spitting. I guess there is no way to determine when that might happen!
Just a cute picture!
Sadie's First Easter and Egg Hunt!
Spring Break has been a blast for the Johnston's! We started off by celebrating Grandaddy's Birthday on Friday and then Sadie went to her first Easter egg hunt on Saturday. She was a little slow catching on, but when she did, she was a crawling machine. She even got the lucky egg and she didn't even know it! I must say we have a go getter girl! On Sunday we got together for the annual Easter lunch at Aunt Jeanette's. It was really nice seeing everyone and spending time with family and friends. Sadie also got's lot's of stuff for Easter. Grandma and Grandaddy and Amanda gave her baskets full of goodies(check out the pictures) and Grandma and Grandaddy Johnston sent her an Easter card in the mail with some money (which was put in savings). If you're wondering why she got so many ducks, it's because she can now say duck. She also loved the marshmellow peeps. The remainder of the week was spent spending time with other people and having mommy at home! All in all it was a NICE and RELAXING spring break (much better than being bigger than a house last year).
Daniel Lee Thompson has arrived!
Sadie loves the playground!
The weather has been beautiful in NC (until today), so Sadie has spent quite a bit of time on the outside! She loves the swing and enjoys playing on the slide. Here are a few pictures of her on the playground!

Jaguar Run Comes To An End!
As most of you know I teach at Farmville Central High School. The basketball team was really good this year and we went to several of the games. The season came to an end last weekend when we got beat in the Regional Finals (one game from the state championship). It was still a fun and very busy season. This is Sadie's friend Trey. They played together at all the games (or basically just sat there because Trey fell asleep:):))))! Trey is the basketball coaches son and I am friends with his wife Misti!

The Robbins To Be!
Today JJ and I had several people over to meet Mike's fiance. It was a lot of fun hanging out and getting to know her. It was nice cooking out and relaxing with friends. I still can't believe Mike Robbins will be married is less than 4 months! We are so very excited for the both of them and look forward to our trip to AZ this summer. So for those of you who don't know this chick, check her out:
Daffodil Fields
There is this really pretty field in Winterville, NC and we took Sadie to get some Easter pictures taken. She did really well and she wanted to eat all the beautiful daffodils. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some good pictures. I would really like to make it a tradition for my family. Check out the cute pics:
10 Months Old
So, I am a little behind on the blog. Sadie turned 10 months old on the 7th of March. She is continuing to learn so very much each day. She is a champ at crawling now and tends to find anything on the floor. She'll come crawling to you with a nice long hair hanging from her mouth (I guess that means I should vacuem more). So far the worst thing she has gotten hold of was the deodorant in our room. She was eating it like a freeze pop. Don't worry we got her before she was poisoned. She has gotten 3 more teeth and loves to eat absolutely anything. The whole milk has been a big hit, so we are very thankful for that. She loves to say "mamamammaammamamama", "dadadadada", "byebyebyebyebye", and her newest words are "duck" and "hey dare". Sadie has also taught herself how to play catch, so on daddy's day off he took her to Walmart and bought her a ball. In the picture below Sadie is looking out the door at her daddy begging to go outside. She absolutely loves the outdoors!
