Way over due for an update!

Okay, so yes it has been quite a while. Things are finally slowing down some for us. Volleyball, Cross-Country and the NC State Fair have all ended. Life is somewhat normal now, but don't worry basketball season is right around the corner. Sadie is doing great. She is talking so much and is starting to play with babydolls and read everyone books. She did do something really exciting a couple of weeks ago. She said her first sentence. We were coming in to mom and dad's and she said "papa". I told her he was going to bed and she in a pitiful tone said "I want my papa". It was sooooooo cute and of course my dad ate it up. Anyway, here are a various number of pictures that we have taken in the past month.

So, I love icecream and so does Sadie. She is also taking my traits and being independent. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or bad. I must say it was really cute though!

Well, that is what we wanted to say before the outcome of the game! ECU started off the season so good and I guess the Wolfpack took them for a loop because we got killed yesterday. We did get to tailgate (for a little while-haha) with Larry and Misti. I must say that was a lot of fun and JJ and I also really enjoyed the game even though we got stomped. Sadie was away with mom and dad, so it was nice to have the night to do what we wanted. We went out to O'Cool's and that was fun and then we came home and ran 3 miles. We did miss Sadie, but the time together was also fun and very relaxing! Here's a few pics of our fun at the game (although there is not a single one of JJ and I).

Friday Night Football or something like that!

So, yes we had home football game and of course Trey and Sadie had to play together! As for the kissing.......we'll deal with it now, but NO WAY in 10 years. That Williford boy is just tooooooo crazy for sweet Sadie (haaahahhaah). The kids had fun playing together and got some cute pics before we left the wacky williford house! I'm sure there will be many more pictures of these two!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Caden!

Caden turned one last week and he had a really fun birthday party. Sadie had a lot of fun in the big blow up bouncing thing. All the kids loved it, but it did take Caden a while to get warmed up to that cake. Over-all he had a great party and got lot's of toys!

It's been a while!

So, I know it has been a while since I updated the website! So much has been going on in our lives. It's been crazy busy with school, cross-country, and volleyball. Amongst all the business things are going great. Sadie is loving her new babysitter. She is talking more and more (she basically doesn't shut up). We are very proud of how she is progressing in her communication skills. She loves the kids that she stays with and now she even crys when we pick her up because she wants to stay. She goes to practice with me and jj and then goes to games and more games and more games. We have 3 weeks left of our seasons and then life should calm down somewhat (at least that is what i am thinking). Dennis and Donna

Last weekend my cousin, Donna got married. She got married on the beach at Fort Macon. I must say that it was very simple and absolutely beautiful. There were only family and friends invited and that was more than enough. They both looked so happy together and it was a nice reminder of how we are truly captured by "love". Here are a lot of pictures from the weekend. The day after, some of us hung out on the beach for the afternoon. LOT'S OF FAMILY FUN!!!!

Oh, how I miss my friend Elizabeth. Sadie and I took a trip up to Apex just before school started to wish Elizabeth a happy birthday and spend some time with her and Logan. I must say that it was very refreshing to spend time with them and especially to catch up with Elizabeth. We took the kids to Jordan Lake and we had a very enjoyable time. Logan actually slept through most of the fun, but Sadie had enough fun for both of them. I sure hope we get to see them again soon. We miss them very much!

Well the summer is officially over for me and Sadie. Sadie has made it to the babysitter and she has transitioned very well. She is learning so very much in the short time that she has been there. She can tell you where are eyes, nose, mouth, ear, and head is located. She is also very talkative as usual (must get that from her daddy). She has other girls her age to play with and then two boys to play with also. She has adapted so well and I am so proud of her. She does cry a bit when I drop her off, but it's probably because she is so used to being around me all summer. Here is a cute picture of us before she started with the babysitter. There is also a video of Sadie trying to hop (she wants to jump so bad after being with me at volleyball practice and seeing the girls jump so much).
